WYRE HALL CONSTITUTION
Name
The club shall be called WYRE HALL ARCHERS herinafter referred to as
the Club.
The funds and property of the club shall be vested in the Chair, Secretary
and Treasurer for the time being.
All monies received on behalf of the Club shall remain the property
of the Club and there will be no distribution of such funds amongst the
members.
The object of the Club shall be the promotion of and provision for field
archery.
The members will be required to hold current N.F.A.S membership and
abide by the rules of the society.
The postal address will be that of the chair for the time being.
The Constitution will be amended and altered as required.
Members wishing to propose or amend the Constitution shall submit such
a proposal to the Chair before the annual renewal in October.
Members
There shall be the following classes of members:-
1.Honorary members
2.Senior members
3.Junior members who must have an adult member with them at all times.
All members shall accept the jurisdiction of the Club and shall conform
to such conditions, shooting rules and regulations as may be determined
from time to time. If, in the opinion of the committee, any person shall
have been guilty of conduct, which makes it undesirable that such a member
should remain as such, the committee may expel such a member without
being called upon to give a reason. The committee's decision shall be
final.
Subscriptions
All members other than Honorary Members shall pay an annual subscription
to the Club at rates to be determined annually.
All subscriptions shall become due on October 1st.
A member who has not paid by October 30th in any one year shall cease
to be a member unless the committee considers there to be extenuating
circumstances.
Management
The management of the Club affairs shall be entrusted to the Club Committee
being:
Chair Person
Secretary
Treasurer
The Club Committee may appoint sub-committees and may delegate powers
within defined limits.
Auditors
The accounts of the Club shall be submitted for audit annually
The accounts will be available for Club members to review on request.
Finance
A bank account shall be maintained in the name of the Club.
All cheques and orders withdrawing monies from the account shall be signed
by the Club Chair and Secretary.
General Meetings
General meetings will be called as and when required.
