Hi everyone.

Thanks to all of you who helped at the working day and made it possible to have completed all the work in a couple of hours. It certainly does make it easier with many hands.

The Club Champs was enjoyed by those who attended with a course of 17 (18 with the poachers arrow) 3D’s. As the grass was too long in the field to use it, all the targets were in the wood, and Bernard had done well to make it an interesting course with predator and prey targets, as well as nominating targets to get double scores! The result was a fun shoot and some excellent scores. The scores were so close that it was a shame for everyone not to win, in some cases there only being 2 points difference.

Well done to all!

As in previous years ( for which we were all grateful and did not complain) Bernard did not shoot in the morning as he has always thought that the Club Champs should be an open chance to members who do not go to National Championships and win. This year Claire as a National Champ volunteered to do the same. Having supervised the Poachers Arrow in the morning they had a healthy personal competition in the afternoon which they both enjoyed.
